Foam Gobbler® 900-25lt
A silicone-based defoamer with ultra-low surface tension for rapid foam collapse across wide pH and temperature ranges.
Product Details
Foam Gobbler® 900 is a high-performance silicone-based defoaming agent engineered to rapidly eliminate and prevent foam formation in challenging industrial environments. Formulated with polydimethylsiloxane and hydrophobic silica, it delivers exceptional defoaming efficiency at extremely low dosage rates, even in high-shear, high-surfactant, or chemical-heavy systems.
Its ultra-low surface tension allows the product to spread instantly across foam films, penetrating and collapsing bubbles on contact. Unlike conventional oils that break down or emulsify, Foam Gobbler® 900 remains active over a wide temperature range and maintains stability in acidic, neutral, and alkaline systems.
This advanced formulation is plant-derived, environmentally responsible, and includes a bio-based lactic acid surfactant system that enhances cleaning, disinfection, and foam stability control. Highly effective and economical, it is suitable for a wide range of process industries where foam reduction is critical to efficiency and safety.
Recommended Uses
Ideal for foam suppression in:
Food and beverage production facilities
Wastewater treatment plants and aeration basins
Paper and pulp mills
Textile and dyeing operations
Oil & gas processing, drilling fluids, and refinery systems
Chemical manufacturing, coatings, inks, and paint industries
CIP systems, bottling lines, and industrial cleaning operations
Industrial fermenters, biological processes, and microbial systems
Cooling towers, process water loops, and recirculating systems
Commercial kitchens and food-service operations needing foam control
Suitable for both in-process defoaming and formulation use in detergent and chemical manufacturing.
Directions of Use
Add directly into the foaming system.
Alternatively, predilute with 3–5 parts cool, clean water for easier dispersion.
Typical in-process dosage: 10–100 ppm (0.01–0.10 kg per 1000 L).
Introduce at points of maximum turbulence for best results.
For chemical formulations:
Add up to 0.5% of total formulation.
Keep pH close to neutral for optimal stability.
